The review of literature supports the intervention of a screening tool in the primary healthcare setting and the Patient Health Screeners (PHQ), which is the tool of choice for analysis in my TEP.
The outcome of early identification and implementation will provide quality of care, evidence based interventions and decrease in cost of care with secondary prevention. Essential II is met with DNP-915 (August,2014) Evidence Based Research, this course I identified the literature to support my TEP and synthesized the literature with initial submission of twenty articles.
Within the community organizational and systems leadership for quality was met in June 9th 2015 with assisting with the organizing and implementation of a Medical Home Model in Oklahoma City, OK as one of the city’s first in a which the clinic piloted a comprehensive system of professionals for improved quality, early intervention, with acute and chronic team management. I continue to pursue education and cutting edge advancements at my community level.

In the MBA-920 course in the March 2015, I applied the organizational change and reform in the U.S. health care system with strategically planning how to develop my role as a DNP advocate. According to a study by Greenburg et. al,2015, the estimated cost of healthcare for individuals with depression has increased to 210.5 billion in 2010. June 2016, I joined a behavioral health integration pilot within the clinic that also involves six other facilities with other healthcare professionals and community leaders. This project goal is to decrease the overall burden of access and stability of mental health patients across Oklahoma with providing a database to identify at risk patients across
