Dear Doug,
Thanks for writing; I’ll try to answer your questions to the best of my ability.

As for your first question, I believe that to talk about your belief with a non-Christian you’d have avoid using excerpts from the bible in order to avoid confusion. As you speak to the non-Christian, I’d advise that you get straight to the point about exactly WHY you believe. Of course you’d have to think long and hard to figure out exactly WHY you believe. Also, make sure to relate your beliefs to the secular world and explain how you think God was involved in it. Meaning that you should explain why believe that God shaped the universe or the Human body. Doug, a worldview is a person’s view on life and everything within it. A person’s worldview is essentially their life philosophy. Their worldview dictates how they’ll live their lives. Furthermore, it dictates their beliefs as well. For example, a non-Christian worldview would mean that a person would follow a philosophy that would likely revolve around secular humanism. So as you can probably predict at this point, to have a Christian worldview simply means to have a Christian point-of-view on life. This means that you’ll live your life making all your actions based on what you’ve been taught by the bible. To have a Christian worldview means that you’ll relate everything that happens in the world to Christianity. Finally, I do know why I’m a Christian. I am a Christian because I believe that this universe couldn’t have been made out of nothing. I also believe that it’d take an intelligent designer to cause this fantastic universe to be created. Furthermore, I believe that the human body is far too complex to be made this way by mere chance or by a million years of evolution. Pretty much, I just can’t imagine how this world or universe could exist without a God actually creating it.
