Dear I want to start off
Dear Ms.Tocco,
I want to start off introducing myself. My name is Leonardo Roufail. I am 100% Chaldean and just transferred to Henry Ford II. Last year I was at Dakota high school. It was pretty awkward on the first day of school cause I only knew a few people, but by the next day I made some new friends. It is kind of annoying because I have a lot of classes with freshman since Dakota and ford take opposite classes. For example Dakota takes Algebra 1 as a freshman and ford takes geometry.
Now I am going to welcome you into my house, I have great mom and dad and pretty cool older brother. I was born on October 19 1999, so I am a lot younger many of the sophomores in this school. I was raised in Sterling Heights and moved to Macomb in 2010. My favorite sport is basketball I could go all day playing it. My current goals right now are to get a 4.0 GPA, make the ford basketball team, and gain 10 pounds in 1 month. I hope I will be able to accomplish these goals by hard work and dedication. In the summer I play travel basketball or AAU. I play for a team that is pretty far from Macomb; it is in 9 mile so it takes some time getting there. This summer we went to Chicago, Las Vegas, and Ohio.
I hope to get some scholarships involving my education and basketball. I would love to attend any D1 school because most of them have great educational systems. One of my life goals is to become a lawyer. At first I would want to do my bachelors and play basketball all 4 years and try to go overseas. If I do not make it I would continue my field in law and try to get into law school. This is another goal that will be difficult. One college that I would really love to go to is the University of Michigan. This college has a great program for law but is very hard to get into. You need a 3.7 GPA and a 27 on your act, and it tends to get pricey over the years. Thank you for getting to know me a little better.
