Declaration Of Intelligence And Intelligent People
People who can’t be intelligent in front of people, whether they wanted to or not wanted to.
Respect is not freely given but rightfully earned. It seems that “not intelligent “people or rejects never get the same amount respect as regular people do. Intelligence is all about how smart you are at doing tasks. People can state strong opinions saying that one intelligent person is smarter another. But this is an opinion. The declaration of independence doesn’t say that “not intelligent” people or rejects are protected under law. It only says about color and gender. It is important that rejects be protected under the declaration of independence because “they are people too”. In my opinion, many people do undermine other people based on their education

The two documents that stirred up controversy during 1776 were The Declaration of Independence and Common Sense. These documents started to put the pressure against the government and it eventually led to the thirteen colonies gaining independence from Britain and the creation of a democratic society. In order for these documents to have the effect that they had on society it was crucial that the message be properly delivered. As much as these documents were connected and seem to help elevate the other, there were multiple similarities and different motives behind each document. An example of a contradicting statement was Thomas Jefferson who opposed slavery and advocated against it did not insist on abolishing it which seemed to contradict the document that he was writing. Even though both of these documents help shape the foundation of America there are many differences and similarities between The Declaration of Independence and Thomas Paine’s Common Sense.…

Are people always treated the right way based on their intelligence? I feel that people who have disabilities or just aren't as smart as other people aren't respected the same as regular people. In Flowers For Algernon the author displays how people with disabilities are treated badly. Daniel Keyes uses one of the characters in Flowers for Algernon, Charlie to demonstrate how people with learning disabilities are treated differently.…

When, in the course of my crazy life, it becomes necessary for me to make conversation with other humans, and to hold said conversation and also listen, I must give my undivided attention to person(s) I am talking with. There is one certain element I cannot stand however; and that is listening to people. People telling me what to do with my life, where to sleep, where to sit, people telling me they like my shirt, that they think I’m funny, and some that even have the audacity to call me their “friend”. This is something that cannot go on any further.…

Between the American colonies and Britain specifically, if the British government fails to protect the absolute rights of the colonists by denying them life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness, then the British government has breeched its social contract and the consent of the colonies to be governed by Britain may be withdrawn. Once colonial consent to be governed by the British is withdrawn, that government can be replaced.…

Institutions such as Princeton and Harvard often have an effect on a student’s individual interest when it comes to Wall Street. In “Biographies of Hegemony” by Karen Ho, she expresses how these type of institutions are always after the students, through a means of interviews, observation, social events, presentations, and even conferences. When in these type of “ivy leagues,” Ho writes how everywhere a student goes he will end up surrounded by someone marketing Wall Street and they know that it will not be hard recruit and convince students that it is the path that they want to go down. The reason that this happens at these institutions is because at Wall Street, they only look for a specific category of people, that look a certain way, usually…

In the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence, it states that every human is created equally by God. The colonist argument for freedom is the Laws of Nature and God impel them separate from the injustice that Britain was enforcing on them. The colonies have grown to be independent because of Britain’s loose rule on them, until Britain needed funds to support their war against France. There were also many other injustices the colonist felt like “taxation without representation”. Since the colonist were paying taxes to Britain they felt that should run under their own legislatures and to have a say in the main government issues, especially in the colonies. This later fueled the colonist to the “Boston Tea Party” act.…

Anyone who’s ever experienced a love of learning has felt the sting of derogatory terms associated with being intelligent. Argued by Leonid Fridman in “America Needs its Nerds”, the offensive label of the intellectually elite will ultimately lead to our downfall. The author’s argument accurately states one of the cold hard facts about school life; that many intelligent people are being treated unfairly as a result of their intelligence. Meanwhile those who are most likely responsible for the mistreatment are worshipped among their peers. As declared by Leonid Fridman this cycle must be stopped or else the gifted people among us will become a dieing breed.…

The Declaration of Independence proclaimed, “All men are created equal.” In 1776 between the conflicts of racism, discrimination against women, and slavery, the theoretical concept of equality was more apart of ones imagination than reality. Women were not allowed to vote, marry, are own their own land. African American men were not allowed to own their own land, and along with their families, often were slaves to the superior white men of society. In present time, ideally, the Americans have the equal rights of marriage, heterosexually, property ownership, and freedom to work by choice not by force, but we fall short of equality when it involves race.…
