Declaration from Doing Chores on School Days
I Sergio Zambrano demand independence from my mother making me do house work on school days were im exhausted plus I have a ton of homework. I tell her that I don’t have any time on school days but she just doesn’t seem to listen. She gives me a huge list of chores to do as if I had nothing else to do. I tell her I care about my education and I try to get as much work as possible when I get home from school but she says there’s always time to do chores, but she is wrong. Also when she sometimes wakes me up extra early just to do chores but im just way too sleepy and I want to get plenty of sleep so I won’t be tired during school. To me education comes first not doing chores. I demand that I may have to do no chores except on the weekends when I have time. I don’t get the point of doing chores, like what am I going to benefit besides helping out my mother, but the point is theirs always room to do chores and that is on the weekends. I demand my school days to be how I want them to be instead of wasting time cleaning the house. That way I can be more important on the things that are most important. I hope I get what I want from this message as it shows how I feel about doing chores on weekdays and how I want independence from

    I believe the Declaration of Independence is completely relevant in today's world. Of course America is not the same as it was in 1776. Many things have changed in our country, but the love and pride for it has only grown. The Declaration is not only relevant in today's world, but it is the document in which we American's live by. Thomas Jefferson said "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, which among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That, to secure these rights, governments is instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed". This quote is the American government's purpose even to this day. The government is supposed to protect the citizen's rights and always ensure freedom and the right to live a successful life in any way you choose. The Declaration also states "that, whenever any form of government becomes destructive at these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it...” Unlike Britain at the time, (in the United States), the Declaration does not just give the people freedom and power, but it also gives the people a say in government. American's have the right to object to anything they may disagree on and can over throw people in government if they are ruling in an unfair manner. This was the creation of our Democratic government. In the Declaration, Jefferson mentioned how the British government was treating the colonies poorly. Although that was to gain attention across the world, the events that happened are still relevant today. Those were, and still are the ways our nation determines what is wrong for the people. Back then the colonies were being taxed without representation. Our nation felt this was wrong so they went and built a government that was made for the people, and by the people.     In my view forcing children in order to help with household task has some positive and negative points but I tend to believe that the positive points are weigh to the negative ones. That is to say that children should have time to play and do their homework if they have any, hence forcing them to help with household tasks may get their times that they need to play or do their homework. Also, children may feel bad when they see thier friends are not forced to do anything in their home other than doing their homework. Conversely, there are lots of positive features in doing so. To be more precise, children can learn to be responsible by forcing children to do a few household task. Fore instance, we can assign some easy job such as putting the garbage in front of the door or cleaning the table after lunch and dinner. These tasks do not get their times that much as well as learn them to be responsible for doing something in a regular bases. Likewise, it makes them to feel that they are part of a family and should care about everything regarding each other. If parents ask children to vacuum their room themselves, children fathom how cleaning a room is difficult and time consuming, therefore they would not make their room so dirty and strive to be cleaner at least. Moreover, by asking them to wash the dishes sometimes, children strive not to make lots of dishes dirty. When parents ask children to do some household tasks, they make children to be more self-disciplined and program for their tasks in order to do their homework and their duty at home to be able to finish them all and play games or play sports with their friends too. Children also learn to use their times in a best plausible way and not wasting their times in order to be able to do all their jobs and responsibilities. In conclusion, I strongly agree that asking children in order to help with household tasks is an appropriate policy which makes children to become more responsible, self-disciplined and…
