Poverty is a lifestyle brought on by financial burden that someone is either born into or that was brought on by hard times. Struggling financially is something that many people deal with on a daily basis. Poverty comes in various forms and is usually stereotyped as someone who is homeless, uses food stamps, or lives in a crowded home. Overall, poverty is essentially someone who is struggling to gain the means necessary to care for themselves and their family. Many times people who are struggling are seen as college or high school dropouts or single parents. Mainly, people who are affected by poverty are looked down upon because they do not it in with society's norms. The faces of poverty come in different forms, no two instances are exactly
the same. Whether it is a single mother working a few part time jobs to support her family. A homeless man begging for money outside a grocery store because he is unable to afford his own home or find a job. A veteran living on the streets because of hard times. All those mentioned are examples of what poverty can take shape as in today's society. Essentially, poverty can affect anyone at anytime and cones in a variety of different forms.
