What is friendship? A special secrecy between someone and their best friend? Or a lifetime worth of ups and downs with the person you tell everything to? Friendship, a relationship of mutual affection between people has very many definitions, meanings , stereotypes, and can also sometimes be debateable. to most people friendship means having love , loyalty , and trust within the relationship Without these things a true and genuine friendship will not be healthy and have the proper needs that this relationship requires to succeed. The love aspect of the relationship can be dire to the whole correlation. Such as when someone has that special friend they can tell anything to and can absolutely not live without, it shows affection towards the person. It makes the person feel loved and this is a major key. The loyalty aspect of it is also required. Without loyalty how could someone know that their friend isn’t a backstabber? A friendship can be between anyone, such as female and female, male and male, or male and female. Most people say the male and female friendship isn’t genuine and that it isn’t possible for individuals of the opposite sex to be friends . This being a tremendous stereotype, has an enormous impact on certain small minded people. Anyone no matter what size, shape, color, ethnicity, religion, or background can have a friendship. Relationships like this are a beautiful thing. It proves that anyone can have a friendship and that there is no certain requirement to having one. In conclusion the word “Friendship” has an immense amount of different meanings and definitions. Friendship’s something that can bring happiness and joy to anybody , no matter what or who you are.
