The meaning of Goodness Goodness is a word that we use today to describe kind or good actions and etc. Today we know to say “ please” and “ thank you” , but ever wonder why we say those words or why it’s necessary. The real question is are we born with this goodness automatically or are we taught goodness?
When someone is born into this world they are born with innocence and potential, but not goodness. If we were born automatically with goodness then we wouldn't have gotten scolded all those times as a kid for not saying please and thank you. Now that we’ve gotten older we know better to show gratitude towards others and kindness. But why exactly are we taught this? The things that cause people to turn out good are the ways that we’re brought up. Every person is taught a different way of what goodness can be. There are endless possibilities of what the meaning and mean to others but there is one thing that it has in common it’s that goodness is the opposite of evil.
