Definition Essay: What's A Hero?

What’s a hero? When most people think about a hero they think about the armed forces. The military isn’t the only ones we think of as heroes most people often think of police officer, firemen, and doctors as heroes. All of them wake up every day not only to make money, but to give people hope and relief. What I mean by relief is making people feel safe and supported. A hero to me is someone who is willing to go out of their way to help others, even when they are the ones in the wrong. Also someone who is willing to do the right things at all times.

Heroes are needed in order to make people feel safe some people may feel as if they don’t need a hero. I disagree with that completely a hero is like a caregiver to me, someone who is willing
Villains often save the day, occasionally out of sympathy for someone or something. But most heroes are everyday people who are willing to step up to the plate and excel to make a difference. For instance a child that grew up alone put himself through college and became a surgeon just to save lives every day. I am inspired to be independent and still put others before
Another great hero is Mona Patel, she also started a non-profit organization for amputees in San Antonio. This organization has provided over resources and support for 115,000 people all over the state of texas. Both of these people went out of the way and started non profit organizations and gave hundreds of thousands of people hope for better.

A way we can apply all this in our lives is a just always make sure you put others first. Don’t always expect something in return for doing the good thing and making the right decisions. Something we can learn from heros is make all of your flaws into good qualities. Not all negative flaws are atrocious these are blessings in disguise which gives you the opportunity to do big things in the
