Some say she is only remembered by her sex appeal and drug habits but it is so much more than that to me. I personally look past the sex and drugs and look at how she is so comfortable in her own skin and that just because she has some curves that it doesn’t make her “ugly” or “fat” it just makes her a little more meaty than most models are. She doesn’t cover herself up more because she is bigger she embraces it in a way to show other women that it is okay to be more the 100 pounds and that you can still be beautiful even if you’re “overweight.” And she never let the people who didn’t agree with her decisions and opinions change her and I think that is a big problem in our world…

Demi is just a short nickname for her actual name Demetria. She likes to sing lots of pop music. She likes to look more cooler than other female singers. What I mean by that is that she likes to have all her hair more to the side, likes to dye her hair a lot, and like to wear outfits that other singer might not want to wear. She is also married to a guy named Wilmer Valderrama. She also has 3 female siblings. Their names are Dallas, Madison, and Amber. She has supported this charity before. This charity helps doctors find a cure to cancer to help kids become cancer free. She had made many hit songs like Stone Cold and Skyscraper. She doesn't just sing. She writes almost all of her own songs, and they are full of meaning. For example a hit song of hers, ‘Gunpowder and Lead’, is about women and how they should not take any shit from any one, let alone a man who hits them. I’m even sitting here writing this, listening to her music. I mean not all of her songs have such a deep meaning, but they all are certainly songs you can just sit back, and rock out too. I’m in love with it, and such a huge fan. In my eyes, Miranda is unlike any star. She isn’t a skinny, overrated, prissy little bitch who is only popular for one song, or how pretty they are. Miranda isn’t even that main-stream, but still does what she loves. When she was a teen, she was on a show kind of like American Idol that got her career started. She went to Nashville, and came back to Texas almost immediately because she hated the “pop” sound of music, and wanted to stay original, and straight up country. She’s a country-rock girl, with meat on her bones, a strong head on her shoulders, and doesn’t take shit from anyone, and will speak up if she has too. I mean, I don’t know the woman personally, but she sure comes off as this way, and it rocks! Oh and who wouldn’t be inspired by…

Lovato uses similes to highlight her weakness through the lines “like I’m made of glass, like I’m made of paper ("Allison’s Blog").” “Like I’m made of glass”, she is comparing herself to glass which is very Fragile and easy to break. Another one is, “Like I’m made of paper” ("Demi Lovato - Skyscraper lyrics, 7"). She feels like very powerless and just goes with the flow and feels like anything can rip her apart. Lastly, “I will be rising from the ground/ like a skyscraper ("Demi Lovato - Skyscraper lyrics, 9-10")”. She compares herself to a skyscraper to show that nothing will make her stay down and she will rise and overcome this difficult obstacle and will become stronger than ever…

She’s inspired me to be a hardworking individual with big goals for myself, one of my largest goals that I’ve achieved was climbing Mt. Sirachi in Haeyoiku. I prepared for this moment every day for hours for a year and a half, I’d wake up at 6 a.m. to run with my oxygen limiting mask and run from my house to the courthouse and back. On the day of my trip I felt overly prepared and didn’t experience any unforeseen circumstances due to my emphasized training. At one point I even had to double back for someone because someone had forgotten their pack down at the start line of the hike. I’d never worked so hard in my life to achieve anything as monumental as the climb to the top, but I was proud of myself and the knowledge that Nicki would be proud as well motivated me more than…

Selena had been faced with so many hardships in her life and she is such a great example of someone who just worked hard and overcame her troubles and proved the world that she could achieve greatness if she wanted to. I think that is a message that many people need in their everyday lives, even if they live a simple life. Every single person comes across hard times in their lives and they need to be able to look up to someone who had been through that and say, if they did that then I can do this. I think due to the diversity of Selena’s problems throughout her entire life everyone could relate to her in some way. Selena went through rough times with her family due to her father being her manager, she faced problems with sexual discrimination, as well as with the hardships of conflict with family friends, all of these things that everyday people can relate to. Selena is also the perfect example of a strong woman and a successful woman as well. Even today it can be hard for women to be treated equally, such as the work force, so to see her achieve such greatness, especially in a genre that was dominated by men, it just feeds inspiration for women and proves that women can do anything. I think the way Selena was taken from this world was very tragic and awful; she was such an icon for so many people…

Approaching this from a cognitive perspective, I believe that the wreckless and attention seeking behavior that Lindsay Lohan outputs is a direct result from her parent's divorce and stress induced from her sky-rocketing childhood fame. In Lindsay Lohan's hit song "Confessions of a broken heart", she emotionally expresses her relationship with her father. In her lyrics she says, "And I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, a family in crisis that only grows older, why'd you have to go... I dream of another you one who would never leave me alone to pick up the pieces, a…
