I had never completed a IAT test or heard of the IAT test prior to this class. I found several of the IAT categories interesting such as race, age, and religion. I choose the age test and found the test somewhat boring. The first task was to sort words and pictures of faces of both young and old people into two categories young and old. I found it interesting that the pictures of the faces were not a picture of the entire face, only the eye area and nose. Will was always driving to and from campus all the time. I gave my friends who lived in the same house as Will the same survey the one I gave my roommates and their answers were outstanding for my research. This time the two questions that the answers varied the questions were is it hard balancing school work with a social life? And would you refer your current living situation to someone you know? Nash, another friend of mine said that during the week and some weekends he has no social life which can get annoying at times. While Will responded absolutely not he always has time for seeing friends. For the second question Will's roommate Pete answered he would not due to the financial cost of living, however, if you are stable financially to live off campus in a house go for it the best experience you will ever have. Nash's response was that if he can go back to freshman year and change anything it would live off campus he loves it. However, Will was indifferent he says there's no point in living off campus if he is always at school the only perks are you don't have to listen to rules set by a resident…

Education is widely recognized as a critical mechanism for equalizing life and career chances for everyone, but particularly for girls and women. recent research on the social and the economic benefits of female education and considers the pathways through which women's schooling leads to social gains. Female deprivation is particularly acute in the developing countries with high levels of poverty, though in affluent nations women also suffer low status due to conservative attitudes. The most dramatic and telling statistic of women's status is the sex-ratio in the population, that is, the number of females per 100 males. It is a well-known fact that life-expectancy at birth favours females. This appears to be a biological constant. Yet, the…
