Demographics of the Aging Population
The aging population is one the most rapidly increasing issue across the nation today. According to demographic data, it has been gradually developing over the last two hundred years. It has become a factor in many countries. The aging population is a result of declining humanity, longevity, and decreasing fertility with fewer young people. As the population ages there will be a major strain on the budget of the government, because more health care service are being used by people of sixty-five than people that is under sixty-five. This will definitely increase the cost of health care in the future.
Although there are several ways that demographics has made an impact on the health care market. When a generation has developed into an overwhelming population at some point in time that generation will reach an age that places them with a great need for healthcare. Even at this moment an example of this idea is going on now. During the early to mid twentieth century a generation of people known as baby boomers made up a large portion of the United States population. Today, as this generation adjusts to new and different technology, the concern for health care is the main issue they are focused on the most. Because of the number of people that make up such a large population, health care organizations set themselves for everything but failure. The health care market has no other choice but to gain prophet right now.
The changes in demographic of the aging population affects on health care in a dramatic way. The cost of health care coverage has grown to a degree that is out of control. Since the 1960s, Medicare and Medicaid advantages have enlarged it requirement for medical services and intensified the rising strain on health care
