How to Make Pancakes
I wake up on a Sunday morning and think: “What will I have for breakfast….?” All of a sudden I have the best idea in the world!!! I am going to make PANCAKES. Ohhhh I do love my pancakes, with their fluffiness…. And their hot melted chocolate chips… I am going to have a feast this morning. Making amazing pancakes is not as easy as some may think, it actually has many components and you really need to make sure you don’t burn them at all otherwise they will be RUINED!!! Pancakes have a visual component as well… You must make sure that you plate them in a perfect shape otherwise they will not be appealing.
1. My pancakes have quite a few ingredients. Those many ingredients are…
1 egg 1 c. low fat milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. all purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt

2. Along with the many ingredients there are some key instructions to making these pancakes perfect. You have to…Beat the egg, the milk and the vanilla together. Then you have to combine the remaining ingredients and stir them into the batter, until they are somewhat smooth, but slightly lumpy. DO NOT over mix. First you must heat the griddle, and then you test the temperature of the griddle by flinging a small amount of water onto it. You then must make a small experimental pancake to make sure that your griddle is ready to be used. When you are finally ready to actually start making them; you must pour a little of the batter with a ladle/spoon onto a hot griddle. Leave at least 2" of space between pancakes. Then you have to let them cook until the tops of pancakes are slightly bubbly, then flip them with a spatula. Cook them just until the underside is lightly browned.
3. Also you mustn’t forget about the presentation of your pancakes. They absolutely MUST be perfectly crispy and brown. In addition to that they have to be shaped perfectly according to the plate like if you have a
