Denzel Washington
I admire Denzel Washington. The reason for this is I think he is a wonderful actor.
Denzel has serious side to him and and also a humorous side when he is acting. He is an a
award actor and has award winning movies I think he has a wonderful personality from what I
see and has a humbling demenor about him self.
Dezel made his first apperance in acting in the comedy Carbon Copy in 1981 and has
also appeared in a number of off Broadway productions and in telivision movies before being
starring role in the hit television medical drama St Elsewhere (1982–1988). Washington
grabbed his first of five Oscar nominations for Cry Freedom (1987). And has won many more
sense then. . For example he has won an award on the movie (Flight) and has been nominated
for 77 awards winning 66 of them. I think he is indeed a wonderful actor and has many more
movies to preform in. I love when he acted in the recent movie 2 Guns with Mark Wahlberg a
movie where curupted DEA agent and a curupted naval intelligence officer find themselves on
the run after an atempt to infiltrate a drug cartel working against each other not knowing that the
othe. Another example of why I think Denzel Washington played a great inspirational roll in
was Remembering The Titians where the true story of an African-American coach and his high
school team on their first season in a racially intergrated school. As the movie goes on there is
racial issues between the team memebers on the football team but eventually team achieves
racial harmony and success. The coach is threatened by the school board that if he is to loose
one game that he will be fired. Thankfully they won every game that season undefeated while
still battling racial prejudice, before slowly gaining support from the community. I also find him to be generous and inspiring always giving back to the community. So
