The other thing is knowledge and qualifications. Expectations related to education is different than used to be. For example, a years ago, if I would like to apply for deputy manager position,
it was fine if I had NVQ3 and the rest of knowledge I would get in practice. Now, QFC level 3 is minimum, the best qualification is level 4 or 5, or 5 in progress. Also, the knowledge about technology is essential. All documents are written on computers now and also there are many tools available at the moment that can support communication systems for service users that have communication difficulties (e.g. tablets, electronic sign boards). To adequate support service users is essential to have a knowledge about those tools.
