Describe The Relationship Between Max And Liesel

In this section Max and Liesel continue to grow closer. Max is still in hiding and staying in the Hubermann's basement. Leisel feels bad for Max and the fact that he is stuck in the basement, never able to come out of hiding. She feels that Max must be so board down there with nothing to do an not even be able to look out the window. In this section Leisel begins to do little things for Max to make his stay just a little bit better everyday. She does things such as giving him a haircut, little weather reports, newspaper, and more. Since Liesel begins to do so many things for max everything she does is like taking a chance or risk because he is hiding and isn't supposed to be in there basement if Leisel was caught doing anything for Max there family would be in big trouble.
Everything she does is like taking a chance or risk, like gambling every time you in roll the-dice, you are taking a risk. This is also shown in the novel, every time Leisel does something for Max a little die is show. This isn't something that is a significant part of this section, but these little acts of kindness hey are doing for each other adds to the book.
