But that was then. When the grass was still green and the clouds were still clean and the pond was still wet, and stars would dance, while shining brightly through the night. Now, the wonderful valley is sitting at the far end of town, where dull green grass grows, higher and higher. The wind smells damp and decay when it blows. No barbaloots, no truffula fruits, no humming fish and no one making a wish. It is now a bad smelling sky, with smoke covered stars. Am I the only one who has noticed this terrible change?

The picture that I confronted was amazing to the point that I couldn't represent a moment. There were five major quiet greenish blue pounds that passed water to each other which then ran out as a waterfall. The sweet, almost wiped out, smell of blossoms slice through the delicate aroma of the evening's dewy grass developed all around the pounds. So high on the mountain I have a feeling that I can touch the sky with the tips of my fingers. I heard the winged creatures singing their wonderful last tune before they will go to rest. I solidify, thinking what an awesome day today is, when out of the blue I feel my stomach turn, I totally overlooked I didn't eat anything today. Tyler, Alex, and I sat down to eat some nourishment before we will head back. After every one of these hours not eating the sustenance felt particularly great. The pureed potatoes were smooth and velvety and the vegetables with their fluctuated hues gave the dish a pleasant appearance. The meat had a rich flavor with only a clue of spiciness. In the wake of eating we put lofts and laid there for around twenty minutes before we pressed up and left such a wonderful spot. I looked over the maritime blue pounds now, the blooms that were presently laying scattered on the grass like solidified blazes, the sky that had obscured to a weak violet shading, and the brilliant melon light of a late summer evening, pivoted and left. A winsome wind…

The thick tree lines and vast open fields bring a sense of freedom and grandeur. The brilliant light shining like beacon of hope with the soft calming breeze flowing across the field is refreshing and pure like a baby after a warm bath. The air seems to be free and clear of the city’s poisonous air pollution and the soft sounds of birds makes it all too refreshing, like a beautiful day on the beach. With quiet clean monuments and buildings dancing across the landscape, the look of peace and quiet seems to be present at last. As the blue crisp skies begin to darken across the brilliant blue pond, the shimmering light hitting the trees is as beautiful as the sun setting on the Catalina Island on a bright blue day with soft clouds flowing across the sky. I have the taste of fresh fruit on my tongue in my mouth as I take a long deep breath, and realize how much the soft green grass adds to the peacefulness in the park. I can hear the cheerful wildlife scampering beyond the tree line, like young children frolicking in their mother’s front yard. As the quiet darkness sets in, and with the city brilliant lights in the background, the serene park makes the bustling city seem peaceful once…

Looking down at my predicament, I saw a steep vertical drop that led into a crystal clear river that flowed between two main opposing canyon slopes. Everything below comprised of layered rocks, cliffs, hills, and valleys, with the occasional hint of green pine trees and plenty of bushes. The air was rich and clear at the same time. A subtle, cool breeze grazed through my thick wolley jacket and reminded me of the potential coldness of mountain weather. The sun brightened at that very moment and heated my cold body. Soon, the sun light spread throughout all of the rocky lands and gave everything a red-orange hue. “Wow what is that!?” my cousin exclaimed. Everyone turned their heads upward. Far into the clear blue sky, a pair of eagles gracefully maneuvered around a puffy white…

The trip around the lake was quick. Once we reached the other side we encountered a garden. The garden was very healthy and appeared to been well taken care of. It was full of bright, vibrant colors. It was full of life and flowers and bright. I thought that it would be gloomier. I was okay with it. It made me more happy and it made me feel lifted up. I also realized something. All of a sudden I could hear again. I had no idea why. I thought something was going on here, but I didn't know what. As the other people got off the flight, I followed them. I assumed they were going to look at Stonehenge too. It was a long and strenuous hike. Walking over tons of hills and in between trees. A little bit later all of a sudden there was a wide open grassland. It was something I had never seen before. The rolling hills were covered with green grass that went on for miles. It was beautiful. I was in shock. The small hills were filled with herds of sheep and a few cows scattered here and there. Long in the distance between two hills I saw stones. Although they looked small from far away, I knew they weren't. Everyone gathered their stuff and headed over. Every step of the way I became more excited.…

It had rained recently and the scent of pine filled the car as we drove with our windows down. I noticed wet red dirt that resembled clay. I pointed out this discovery to the kids, whom were amazed at every new sight. The air was so clean, there was no scent of smog, to which I had grown accustomed, in my home town. We observed many trees and relished in their beauty. There were trees of all kinds ranging from pine, to cedar, hickory and many others. The colors that filled them made me realize, I had truly arrived. The scenery was so beautiful and welcoming. I was home and it felt that way from the moment I arrived. My children and I noticed fall leaves everywhere. All colors associated with autumn made me cry, I was just so happy and exhausted. I couldn’t wait to get out of the car and really relax. After about three days of driving I was totally worn out and suffered from a bad case of insomnia. In spite of it all, I was excited to start my new job and our new…

Everything in the setting is natural, 'the deep green pool of the Salinas River' and 'a far rush of wind sounded and a gust drove through the tops of the trees like a wave. The language creates a feeling of light and brightness, particularly the "twinkling" water. The leaves are 'deep and so crisp' so that a lizard 'makes a great skittering' as it runs through them. The sycamore leaves turned up their silver sides, the brown, dry leaves on the ground scudded a few feet'. By these descriptions we have an image of a delightful place which is calm and peaceful almost like heaven.…

Some colorful birds were coming out of the foliage. It wasn’t the monsoon season, and the sun with the multicolored birds mingled among the plants. The Lake was quiet, peaceful, wondrous, and beautiful this time. It has always been miniscule, but it was big in my mind. The small green grasshoppers were hopping about, and wanted to be concealed in the recently mowed grass, but were too big without being spotted. The small forest was waving to us from below, making a friendly gesture to all. They swayed in a simple but smooth rhythm together as one like music notes played on the piano, making a magnificent melody. The reeds located near the shallow waters of the Lake were covered by moss, but still beautiful in the sight of their mellow, naturalistic colors. The sparkling water and the ripples were slowly moving as the wind carried them swiftly to one way and another. The tiny tadpoles were waiting for their adulthood to come to fully develop. The fish were silently sitting still for a worm to swim past them so they would be able to eat a late…

As we approach the beach, the first thing I notice is the sky. As I look into the cloudless, cerulean blue sky and see the flawlessness of life; in the distance, rolling clear-blue waves crash into each other with such force as that of football players. The sky is breathtaking along with the sounds of the waves and the tide washing onto the shore. The water reminds me of crystals shimmering in the water with the sun reflecting off of it. As I walk down the narrow, brown, rickety bridge that leads to the ocean my heart begins to race in anticipation of reaching the fascinating sight. I’m suddenly surrounded by sand that is white and pure as snow. I walk at a turtle’s speed absorbing this overwhelming beauty that encircles me. The sky is the brightest blue I’ve ever seen, so bright that it almost seems as if it is from an animated movie and not real life itself. Fluffy clumps of clouds that were covering the sky before slowly fade away into thin air and the crystal clear waves sparkle like diamonds. The water is never-ending. I see heaps of seagulls flying around the sky, white and grey and full of spirit. As a gust of wind runs through my long, dark, brown hair I look to the right to see two elegant dolphins leap from the deep blue sea and dive back in as if saying hello to the gorgeous, heavenly day.…
