On a casual Sunday night a family came home to be bludgeoned to death by an axe murderer. On June 10th 1912,a monday morning, 6 children and 2 adults were found in their house with their heads bashed to death. In other words, someone inside the house must have been in the house judging that the doors were all locked and the axe belonged to Josiah. Whoever killed the Moore Family must have had a grudge on them and been mad enough to murder them. The Moore family was murdered by William Blackie Mansfield who was hired by Frank F. Jones because Josiah was thought to have an affair with Frank's daughter and they once worked together until Josiah quit.…
Another article I would like to discuss is from People magazine written by Jeff Truesdell, Neighbors of Making a Murderer's Steven Avery Speak Out About His Guilt or Innocence: 'Those of Us Who Live Here Know He's Guilty.’ In this article, Jeff Truesdell interviewed locals of Manitowoc County; Steven Avery’s neighbors. The neighbors paint an incredibly different picture than what is provided in Making a Murderer. The neighbors discuss how much safer they felt now that Steven Avery was back in jail, and how when he was released the first time they believed something strange happened. The general consensus of his neighbors was that he was guilty for the assault he was in jail for originally, and for the crimes he is in jail for now. One neighbor…

In the book Killer Angels by Michael Shaara, he analyzes the roles of two important men in Civil War history. One is Robert E. Lee, the commander of the Confederate army, and the other is James Longstreet, a Confederate general. Both men play key parts in the battle of Gettysburg and their choices help direct the course of the whole war, both in their favor and against. While they are fighting on the same side, there are differences that distinguish them and cause conflict between them, and these differences will determine major turning points in the war.…
The town of Boston selected/hired a (group that decides or promotes something) that included James Bowdoin, Joseph Warren and Samuel Pemberton who were in charge of submitting an official account of the Boston Killing of many people of March 5, 1770, the resulting document was titled "A Short Story of the Terrible, scary Killing of many people in Boston". Sending letters directly between the Dominican Republic and Haiti has only recently become possible. For most of the last sixty years, their postal services routed the mail ninety miles north to Miami as if the two countries had decided that they no longer shared the island of Hispaniola. This is absurd at best; a flight between their capital cities, Santo Domingo and Port-au-Prince, takes only half an hour. Deep in the Cordillera Central mountain range, the border is virtually irrelevant to peasants who cross it easily on market days and switch…

One of the most famous questions of all time asks, “Why do serial killers, kill?” Everyone is different in their own way, so no one can really answer that question specifically. Dr. Helen Morrison, author of “My Life Among The Serial Killers” interviewed ten famous serial killers to try to answer this question. She found that almost all of them had similar characteristics besides killing. Unlike what most people believe, she surprisingly found that these characteristics did not include insanity, child abuse, or drug abuse. Instead she explains that their most common trait is that they have an emotional age of an infant. Other characteristics include fluent lying, the lacking ability to comprehend that they did anything wrong, and no memory of the murders however when they do remember they show no mercy.…
