It is when you get to Nova Rd that you enter into a long road of shops both big and small. Clothes to groceries and everything in between are on one side or the other of Nova Rd. Just off of Nova Rd you will find the Sugar Mill botanical gardens, just a small drive up Old Sugar Mill Rd.

If you decide to travel past Nova rd, you will come to the Dunlawton bridge that leads into the beach areas of Daytona Beach Shores. Before you cross though, take a moment to explore the bridge itself. Each side has an park area complete with piers for you to go over the water. into. Finally, once you make it over the bridge and enter Daytona Beach Shores from Port Orange, you are a straight drive to the beaches to finish off your day with some sand and sun.
