Descriptive Essay: The Reel Passion Of Fishing
The Reel Passion I love fishing. Everything about the hobby is just amazing. I still to this day remember my first fishing voyage, it was with my grandpa. I was probably five or six at the time and I was so excited to finally go. My grandpa literally went fishing everyday of the week and knew everything there is to know when it comes to the sport. All the way to tying hooks onto line, picking the right lure and color for the pond or lake we were at, and every technique there is to make sure you catch the most fish you can. It was really a special thing that did together. I will go over everything that my grandpa taught me so that you too can fish to the best of your ability. Always prepare before you go out so that you are ready for everything and anything, the different types of rods and reels and last the different types of baits you can use to catch fish! One of the most important things that a lot of fisherman overlook is preparing for the trip itself. It ensures that you are ready for changing conditions in the weather and water. The more things you pack the better. This means more rod and reel combos, baits and line. The three different …show more content…
Rods and reels very in many ways and there are certain types for certain species and waters. Short, medium, and long as well as slow, medium-slow, medium, medium-fast and fast action are all of the choices a person has when looking to purchase a new rod. The smaller and thinner the rod, the smaller and lighter the fish are that your trying to catch. This means the larger and thicker rod will usually be for big river and deep sea fishing. Now for reels. There are two types of reel and rod combos and those are spinning and bait casting. Spinning is what most average fishermen will use because they are easier to use and usually offer less of a chance to malfunction. Bait casters are for more of the experienced fisherman. They are trickier to use, but offer a more precise fishing
