This type of minority would be greater than income or skin color, it would be on a genetic level. The group of authors work for an organization whose mission is to discover ways to use technology to our benefit thus they most likely are biased toward genetically engineering embryos. With this mind however, the authors present both sides fairly equally on each issue which helps to neutralize the bias. The intended audience for this article is most likely students who are looking to find what designer babies are and the benefits and consequences associated with them.
