"I want to have that, to feel that. To be that strong for you." she took a breath and decided there was no other choice. Desiree knew just tossing this all aside and going back to her life would leave her feeling empty. So why not try, Desiree would never forgive herself if she didn't at least do that.

She kissed him again, her lips gently parting for his as her hands rested on his chest. It surprised her how warm he felt. Than again something told her that the old movie tropes weren't all given facts in this world. She had a lot to learn that was for sure. But Desiree knew Razio would be there to show her everything she'd need to know.

Once out of earshot she breathed a sigh of relief, glanced over her appearance and undid a couple of extra buttons on the skimpy blouse she had on over the blue and black plaid mini skirt and ridiculously high stilettos which, along with her thong and stockings would be the only thing she'd have left on by the end of her routine.…

The Italian Renaissance is typically viewed as a momentous period for growth in knowledge and advancements in society. The equality between men and women is one of the first things some historians, such as Bruckhardt and Kelly-Gadol use to display society from that time period. Castiglione had a text called The Courtier, which gave views on both males and females during the Italian Renaissance. There were some renaissance artists and authors that had created documents, which show a possible representation of what was expected from both men and women.…
