Desperation in Love
Today, I am going to talk about “Crazy For Love”. Or it can also be called as “Obsession on guys”. Actually it’s common to happen on girls, and we do not have to feel shy about it. We girls love to talk about guys, hang out with them, or chase after them. But, when our lives become obsessed with getting guy’s attention, we’re heading for trouble. In this topic, I’ll share about what these obsession looks like and rediscover ourselves by embracing the fact that God deeply loves and cherishes us.
Defining “Desperation”.
In the dictionary, we can find that it means by : Reckless or dangerous because of despair or urgency. So it simply says that urgency or despair leads us to be reckless and dangerous. Desperation can leads a girl to do some wild, crazy or destructive tings just to be loved and wanted.
So what we usually do? We end up often mistaken our own feelings and hurting ourselves with unstable emotions.
Girls that are crazy to get guy’s attentions usually cling on him, change who she is to make him happy, becomes willing to do anything for him, can tolerate his rude behavior, assume he is a good guy and become blind to his bad points.
Remember, love is powerful but it can also hurt us like crazy.
We Christian girls should be committed to Christ, don’t search for boys, seek Christ and the boy you want will find you. God has also created you uniquely you. Be yourself & don’t change for any guy. So what’s the big deal about boys? When we’re in a relationship that is built up young and prematurely, it often leads us to compromise and do things we said we’ll never do.
Nearly one third of the girls see sex as a fun bonding things to do with a guy, and sexual network is common. By the time, most girls that gets their graduation caps already lost their virgin and their sense for who they are. And how many friends have you lost to their boyfriends? Imagine when your friend changed when she has a boyfriend and she didn’t seems to care about you anymore.
