I believe that I am a determinist. All year we have been talking about determinism, we just might have not noticed. To be a determinist you have believe that everything that is caused is happen to happen. For example we can go back to the explosion of the U.S.S Maine. I believe that this was caused to happen by human actions, and that it happened for a reason. Another example could be the assassination of presidents. If you think, you must wonder why were they killed? I believe that their has to be a reason for each assassination. Such as the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. I think that it all traces back to something. For a third example is for myself, my determinism to play soccer. On February 16, 1898 the U.S.S Maine exploded. The U.S.S was supposedly caused by a mine, but nobody knows for sure. The cause of this event was caused by the tension between the Spanish and the Americans. This assassination was huge in history because it lead to the outbreak of World War 1. Their has to be reasons as in why Ferdinand was assassinated. This is because Princip viewed Ferdinand as foreign oppressors. Ferdinand ignored important warnings of anti- Austrian sentiments in Serbia. On their independence day Ferdinand traveled to Serbia. Many people wanted to kill Ferdinand because of the actions he was taking. A terrorist group called the Black Hand wanted to kill him because they wanted to show that they could not be repressed by foreign opposers. This is why Ferdinand was assassinated because many people were determined to kill him because of his actions. By these actions it caused tension between many countries, which caused the outbreak of World War
