INTRODUCTION:
Barangay Linao is bounded by Barangay Maghaway on the North, Barangay
Lawaan I on the East, Barangay Mohon on the South East and Municipality of Minglanilla on the West. It has a land area of 139.327 hectares with eight 8 sitios. The barangay belongs to the average income class of the City of Talisay.
Originally, Barangay Linao was named after Visayan word “LINAO”, meaning peace among inhabitants. In addition according to the elderly people living in the
Barangay, Linao also represented the abundance of water in the form of springs found in the lower area of the barangay, which up to the present still existed. Barangay Linao became a barangay in the early 1930’s located in the border of
City of Talisay and Municipality of Minglanilla.
LEARNINGS: Collecting Data's are not that easy, you need to shed some sweats to connect with the person that is capable to answer the different data that was given. Yet it helps me to be an open minded upon knowing that being part of the government stafsf is not that easy. You need to set your time in prepare everything to serve the people in a manner that they want you to be. Well it also helps me to be knowledgeable in knowing the different data and the different works of the barangay officials.
