The reason for why governments play a bigger role in developing countries is because of how they handle conflicts of the citizens. Developed countries compared to developing countries, people in rural areas lack of access to health care, education, food and shelter, hence, the role of the government is more important in this situation. However, there are responsibilities that both government and citizens should have in a country. For example, securing the citizens’ well being should be the government’s utmost priority and it’s the citizens’ responsibility to respect the government to some extent.
