The Ancient Rome began growing in a small Italian Peninsula which is located near to the Tiber River into an empire in the beginning of eighth century B.C. As we can see though story it says that Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus, they were twin and sons of Mars, his father was known as god of war. They drown in a basket on the Tiber by Alba Langa he was one of the king which he lived nearby, from the river they rescued by a she-wolf. These two twins lived there to defeat the kind. They found their own city on the river’s banks in 753 B.C. After a period of time Romulus he killed his brother, and he became the first king of Rome, the name of city taken from his name which is Rome.

In the 450 B.C. it was the first time that Romanian people write their own first law code on the 12 bronze tablets, and also known as the Twelve Tables, which is displayed in the Roman forum. Legal procedure, civil rights and property right all inscribed on the 12 bronze tablets. The real political power began in the Rome by around 300 B.C. the most of political people were from wealthy families.

In the early republic the Roman government became too powerful. Especially the military, the Roman’s military controlled by Camillus which known as a hero. By the time of 264 B.C wars got start which is known as the Punic Wars between Rome and a powerful city in the northern Africa called that Carthage. The first and second wars ended with Rome. In the third Punic War Romans won and destroyed the city of Carthage. Because of many conquered Rome got a lot bigger and became more powerful.

The people of ancient Rome were traveling through Mediterranean Sea to the other countries like Egypt in order to improve their economy. There were focusing on building ships and farming and many kind of pottery.
