Devon College has always enjoyed a wonderful reputation for providing a liberal arts education, and recently Devon has been recognized as one of the top 25 educational values in the country among private universities. The demand for higher education has fallen due to the drop in college-aged students, the increased costs for providing education has risen due to inflation, and donations and other gifts have fallen due to the depressed economy during the past several years.
