I like Songkran festival more than Holi festival . For the first reason , I am thai not Hindu .The colorful festival of Holi is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima which comes in February end or early March which a clod season. I don’t like a cold weater . While Songkran festival , April 12-15, is the traditional Thai New Year. This is the time for Thais to pay homage to Buddha images, clean their houses, and sprinkle water on their elders in a show of respect. The second reason that I like Songkran festival is The Thai people celebrate this festival with water. Everyone gets soaking wet and since it is the hottest season of the year, the custom is quite refreshing. Songkran is a Public Spring Cleaning Day, supported by the religious belief that anything old and useless must be thrown away or it will bring bad luck to the owner. Holi festival people celebrate this festival with color. The third reason is I can pour scented water into the hands of elders and parents as a mark of respect while seeking the blessing of the older people. In ancient days, old people were actually given a bath and clothed in new apparel presented by the young folks as a token of respect for the New Year. In Holi festival idon’t like Caution should therefore be taken while consuming bhang delicacies. the evenings the spent in sobriety when people meet friends because I like enjoy I don’t like sobriety. That is why I like Songkran festival more than Holi

Jane paused, told Michelle she had another urgent call, and put her on hold. What was she going to tell her friend Michelle about Ralph. "Why do these things happen to me?" she muttered to herself. Jane had been a regional sales manager at COBA for almost two years. One of the problems that came with the position was Ralph. Ralph had been with the company for ten years and was a good performer. He always met his quotas and goals and was a team player in every respect. Two years ago, however, Ralph went through a period of depression that severely affected his sales figures as well as his client relationships. Another problem resulting from Ralph?s depression was alcohol dependence. When the problem came to light, COBA had given Ralph the option of either entering a private drug rehabilitation center or being dismissed. Ralph chose the six-week detoxification program. For about six months all seemed to be go well. Ralph?s sales figures improved, and Jane, who was Ralph?s boss, had not received any more customer complaints about him. However, when it became apparent that Ralph was drinking again, Jane confronted him. Ralph justified his behavior by telling her that he had to have a few drinks with his clients to keep them happy. "After all, Jane, everyone knows that drinking is something a salesperson does to develop a more personal relationship with the client," he argued. "Besides, my sales figures have not decreased; they?ve increased." Nevertheless, Jane cautioned Ralph about his behavior. Several months before Ralph had resumed drinking, a confidential report from the detoxification center…

To be an effective writer, the use of pathos is extremely important. When used correctly, pathos can evoke a strong feeling of compassion and sympathy. With these feelings, an audience can relate to the subject the author is portraying. The Food Network last year created a public service announcement for starving children within the United States. The public service announcement, No Kid Hungry, does an excellent job at expressing a feeling of sympathy to it's audience.…

Pakistan Artillery operated in Kashmir under several handicaps, except for the spirit and skill of our officers and men. Guns were employed with great care and full calculation of the risks involved. In spite of Indian monopoly of air, wherever our guns opened fire, the Indians were surprised and silenced receiving commensurate punishment. The feats like manhandling and taking the guns to heights of over 9000 feet on the peaks of Chunj, Kai and other features and engaging Indian forces, will remain a glowing chapter in the history of Pakistan Artillery. These officers and men were trained before the dawn of independence but they were Pakistanis, and so was their spirit and inspiration. For the first time since the disintegration of Mughal Empire, the people of this part of the land could feel making their own history.…
