Diabetes
I. Diabetes is a metabolic disease where the body cannot make enough or any insulin. There are many ways to prevent diabetes, by knowing the symptoms and causes. diabetes is a disease with very few treatments, but it can affect your life in many ways.
II. Finding ways to prevent all types and kinds of diabetes.
A. make sure that you are staying physically active for more than two hours a day it is very important to keep your body moving (A,2).
B. Eat at least 3 cups of fruit and vegetables a day to keep a healthy metabolism, before having a starchy dinner (C,2).
C. Try to graze your meals throughout the day instead of big meals, because it keeps your metabolism going all day instead every couple of hours (C,2).
D. Sleeping more than eight hours a night can lower your stress level ,and with a lower stress level your blood pressure will stay down and can help you control your blood sugar (C,2).
E. Control your stress to keep blood pressure down, its a big factor when having high blood sugar (A,2).
F. Drinking a very large portion of water before you eat any meal to create the feeling of not being hungry (B,3).
G. Eating slower can help because it takes about twenty minfor your stomach to send signal to your brain saying that you are full (B,3).
H. Listen to music while eating instead of watching t.v, because t.v is a main cause of obesity, which leads to type two diabetes (D,2).
III. The symptoms of diabetes.
A. A feeling of pin and needles in feet ( D,2).
B. A frequent urination without drinking or eating anything (B,2)
C. Getting cuts and bruises very easily, but they heal very slowly (B.2)
D. Blurry vision occurring throughout the day (B,2)
E. Having an extreme weight loss even though you are still eating just as much or more than you were (B,3)
