Dialectical Journal Chapter 15-19
Chapters 15-19 a lot of important events occurred that will impact the end of the story I think. Such as in chapter 15 we right away found out about the dark truth of Rudy. It was an extremely shocking new, I was not expecting that at all. I used to think Rudy was probably a nice guy mostly after finding out that he was priest. That maybe he had just felt disappointed about the religion or something and therefore he would drink a lot. However now I know the truth I don’t really know how to feel, I definitely don’t like him, and I honestly feel like he should pay for at he did with jail time or something. Which makes me wonder what will actually happen to him. In this same chapter is where Ben meets his new therapist. I can’t say how I feel about him yet because I feel like they haven’t talked about him too much. However, it is noticeable that he disagrees with Ben on his decision based on his reaction when reading his file. He was also mad towards Marla since he allowed him to keep this secret and not get treatment. “I’m also considering reporting this Marla person to state licensing. She should never have …show more content…
At first, she seems confused or maybe in shock, because once he could process the new she was mad/upset at the fact that Ben hadn’t told her after all they had gone through. In some level I understand why Dallas is mad, yet I do think she will think things through and will talk to Ben and companion him on his last months. It is sad to read of how Ben feels about the situation with Dallas. “I was totally in my ass for her. This feels worse than dying”. (pg.255) In this chapter Ben lets us know how it’s going with his petition for Naming one street after Malcom X. it seem to not be going so well since Ben mention that at the end of her his first day he has one signature under his petition and it’s his own signature. We also give are selves an idea of the people of the town after reading Mr. Gardner’s response to

We've recently watched the movie 23 Skidoo both in class and on our own time at home. When I first saw it in class, I was a bit confused and I didn't really understand what was happening in the film. After re-watching it, I understood that it is a film about a post-nuclear bomb explosion. What's different about this movie is that there is no narrative, or actors, but there is music. I find that it makes you concentrate more on what's happening in the film because no one's explaining it to you. The music featured in the film wasn't continuous. It made the setting more mysterious because sometimes, the music would be almost scary sounding, and you'd think that something was about to happen. It made me create other scenarios…

I was only a member of the Fallen Lamb for a few nights at the time, but never had I seen the sea as beautiful as it was then. She glistened a deep blue, and clashed against the hard wood of the ship, waves rising until it hit the hull then falling back into the sea. Getting used to the constant rocking of the ship was incredibly difficult at first, but I managed to retain my balance after a week or so. Anyways, I made my way to the main deck, passing through the kitchen first so I could grab a bite to eat. All we had left for breakfast were apples that were once fresh, but old and bruised now.…

He looked in the bird section, monky section, element section, and many more, but he couldn't find the penguin. The only two places he didn't look in where the fish exhibit and the, oh no would he have gone in the lion section, if he had I would get fired for shere. So he ran to the lion exhibit but the…

In the letter from Scout to Jem, we see Scout's’ point of view and how she feels. It shows that she is sad that Boo gave them so much and they did not give him anything in return like a good neighbor should have. To convey this, a flowery background symbolizes a neighbor's job to look after one another and the items in the pouch exhibits what Scout and Jem were given I feel that this establishes a feeling of growing maturity because the flowery background also symbolizes the growth of a young girl at the stage of coming of age experiences were a young bud becomes a flower not yet too old to shine like glitter which reveals that pouch holding items is like the pouch of a mother kangaroo because they hold their young in that pouch and Boo cares…

“Brothers and esteemed fathers,” Paul said, “listen to me as I offer my defense.” When they heard him speaking in their own language, the silence was even greater. Act 22-1-2 (NLT).Paul describes to us in the in the next (1-22) verses his story. Now think of your story and the details which wrap you up and wrecks your brains with thoughts as it robs you of your inner peace. If the looping stories are bringing up more anger and bitterness then you might want to search for a better story line to tell others. You know Jesus spent much of His life undoing false stories and replacing them with truer, better and richer ones. When we exchange our sinful, false, painful stories for God’s truer ones we find that over time we also change…
