In the answer sheet …
 Check which word describes you more. It does not mean

that if you choose one word over the other, you do not possess the trait. You just have to reflect on which trait you tend to be more of.
 Afterwards, count the number of checks per column and

record the total.

The Personality Compass
 It looks at different styles and patterns of personality.

 It is not a clinical tool for neurosis or psychosis.
 It is a self-awareness inventory to help people

understand how they like to work and do things.

 Column No. 1: North
 Column No. 2: South
 Column No. 3: East
 Column No. 4: West

 The East will call a spade by its scientific name.

 The South will call a spade by whatever it wants to be

called.
 The West will refuse to confine a name to the spade.

At golf…
 The North will hit the ball to reach the goal regardless of

whether you are standing there or not.
 The East will measure the distance between the ball and the hole, the wind, the size of the club.
 The South will hold the golf club and remain holding the golf club while talking to other players.
 The West will experiment and try to combine the golf ball with the tennis racket.

Shopping…
 The North know exactly where to go, what to buy, and will

leave as soon as they get what they want.
 The East will check the price, the ingredients, the details in the packets.
 The South will befriend the salesmen to get the best discounts and will think of their loved ones every time they shop.  The West will not even know what exactly to buy until they get there, or will keep searching and searching and may still end up buying the wrong thing.
