Diary Writing An Unforgettable Experience
Diary Writing An Unforgettable Experience
Dear diary,
Summer holiday is always a wonderful time for everyone, especially for me. Yesterday was a good day because of the bright sunshine, the lovely television(programme)?, sleeping and eating. My life (was so) ?perfect during this Summer vacation.
While I was having tasty sandwiches for lunch, my best friend, Tammy, called. How sweet it is for a friend to call you when you really need her! But she just called to ask me about the HOMEWORK! I was shocked at once. I haven't done any of it! Oh my God! How could I finish all of it in only 2 days?
I quickly went back to my room and threw out all the things from my schoolbag. There were tons of homework, including Chinese, English, Maths and 28 days' diaries(that I needed to write)?! I looked at the clock again and again. It was already 9 p.m. So, I took all of it down to my grandfather's room and hoped that he could help me.
" Grandpa, I know you are handsome and strong! So, please... Can you help me to do my homework?"
I know my grandpa well. He is too soft- hearted. He always helps me and teaches me a lot of things about my tough homework. He has never said' no"! I thought he could say "yes" this time as well. He smiled at me and at last said" NO'!( This was all because of my mum.) As she walked by and heard our conversation, she looked up at grandpa and me with a scowl, we were so scared that we finally gave up.
What an unforgettable day! I need to do all of the homework by myself in 2 days!?
After I had done all of them, I got a cold and fever. Now, I am lying on a bed in a hospital.
I think I will never forget about doing my homework again!
What a sad day!
Good night!

The date was June 14, 2034. I was flying to London, England with my private jet. It was a beautiful day. The clouds were puffy and white, the sun was shining, and there was no wind. Then all of a sudden, there was a lot of turbulence. The plane was going crazy going left, then right, then back to the left. My pilot told me to not panic and that everything is going to be fine, but I was having cold feet. The turbulence became so wild, the pilot announced that the plane will have to land on the nearest ground.…

My Diary: 11/2 Today he walked in with a deep blue bruise on his face. This wasn’t the first time I pretended it wasn’t there. 11/9 He started using his left hand for everything today. He is right-handed, but I didn’t mention it. 11/16 Today he walked in with a limp. The bruise from two weeks ago is gone, but a fresh one has replaced it. I was going to tell someone, but I never got around to it. 11/19 His limp had been getting better. However, today it was worse. I am going to talk to someone tomorrow… 11/20 He looked okay today.... I’ll find someone on Monday; it was a long week. 11/23 He didn’t come to school today. I talked to the someone. She needed to talk to him personally, but, as I mentioned, he wasn’t there. 11/24 He was absent again.…

    Piggy Diary Entry Essay

Dear Diary (entry two), things have not gotten better; in fact they might have worsened. Ralph called a meeting to discuss how nobody was doing his assigned tasks, and instead they were running wild or playing around. Then he threatened us saying that if we do not keep the signal fire we will be stuck on the island with the beast. I do not know how I feel about the beast but I do know that it is causing me a lack of repose. The stories the littluns have told about the beast sounds pretty compelling, however I don’t presume there is a beast. Piggy told me that “Life id scientific, that’s what it is…I know there isn’t no beast” (Golding 76). Piggy is extremely intellectual, so if he said there is no beast there mustn’t be a beast. I do have an uncanny feeling that if there is a beast it is Jack or he is secretly doing something malevolent. I do sense a tension between…

I was trudging across dreaded communications trench, feet and clothes damp and cold. The mud had gone hard as it was crunching under my worn out, over sized boots. I was considered lucky to even get boots. It was a narrow trench that was shared by many young and innocent soldiers who were limping to the fatal front line; I looked up into the sullen and weary eyes of a petrified soldier with curly black hair like a plate of broken noodles. His clothes were tired and filthy with a foul and putrid stench. He looked stunned and dark eyed and at that moment he limped and crawled away, so obviously had just been to the front line. At that second I jumped slightly in anxious fear as I heard rifle fire and machine-gun fire in the distance, the fear and darkness was beginning to penetrate my body. There was a crackling pop of the flares going up and lighting up the dull and rainy sky above that made my eyes aware that it was nearing afternoon. I felt extremely discomfited and miserable missing home. I was close to the front line. I heard a large boom followed by screams and then silence. I was smart enough to know what that meant. Soldiers suffered slowly and steadily. Anxious. That’s all I felt right now.…

Today is perhaps one of the most important days of my life. It is the day I take my placement exam that determines which major you will be put into at the higher learning institution. Shakily I finish getting dressed for the day, I am adorned in a pair of navy pants and a grey button up with the number 84 on the cuff. Each year the society gives a number to every child born. I was the 84th child of the year so that is the number I was assigned, many of my other classmates have number ranging from 20 to over 200. I slip out of my room and jog to the end of my hall barely catching the last lift to the 97th floor where the test is administered. Not everyone gets invited to secondary school, for 75% of the world primary is the end, they didn’t pass, and would be taught trade jobs with little opportunity for advancement. Due to this pressure of the test looms over me and the memory of leaving my mother and family take over my mind almost daily.…

Opening my eyes, I was greeted by the bright, shiny sun peeking through the curtains. Today started like any other day. Mom came in and woke me up. I was still groggy like an old person waking up from a deep sleep. My mom laid out my clothes last night. She takes care of me like a king takes care of his people. I do not know what I would be without her.Once I got dressed and mom helped me put my shoes on. We walked downstairs and Lindsey and Shannon, my sisters, were getting ready for school. I walked downstairs to the first floor and saw my dad leaving. I ran to him to give him a good bye hug. Then I had breakfast. I am pretty sure that it was scrambled eggs with ketchup. My life is as hectic as an exterminator during an infestation. Or so I thought.…

My writing recording sheet shows the many fluctuations of my writing grade. My year starts off with an okay start, and then towards the middle, my grades started to plummet. I would attribute that to my lack of focus in proofreading and properly checking my work. Over my last few assignments, I have been marked off for things that I could have easily attained point. During the start of the year, recording my mistakes down did really benefit me in my future assignments, but there would always be times where a mistake would slip through my proofreading. At most times, it would be my header where I might have forgotten my title, had too much spacing, or etc. Towards the end of the year, I kind-of fell off from recording in great detail as I started…

Ever since I could remember, I’ve loved writing. My passion began as a child when my creative writing empowered me to defeat my speech disability Rhotacism, the inability to pronounce the R sound; It’s more commonly know as the funny way Elmer Fudd talks on Looney Tunes. At a time in which I had lost my voice, I was able to eliminate my speech impediment by gaining confidence in myself through writing, reading my writing out loud, and working closely with a speech therapist.…
