Diclofenac sodium is [2-{(2, 6-dichlorophenyl)-amino} phenyl acetate]. It is synthetic, non steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic compound.
Category: Analgesic; Anti-inflammatory.
Molecular Structure:

Diclofenac

Molecular Formula: C14H11Cl2NO2? Molecular Weight: 318.13 Appearance, Colour, and odour: Diclofenac sodium is an odourless, white to off- white crystalline, slightly hygroscopic powder.

Storage: Store in well-closed, light-resistant containers. Solubility: Solubility in various solvent at 25?c is given in the following table (Christianah et al., 2005).
