This is divided in three stages that are departure: when the hero leave the place where he leaves and goes to an unknown world to start a journey, initiation: when the hero needs to overcome some trials for being admitted into a group or society or to arrived to the place he/she was called to achieve a mission and return: when the hero achieve her/his goal and return to her home as an other person. This monomyth was created by Joseph Campbell, but then some other people contributed in this creation, such as David Adams Leeming (1981), Phil Cousineau (1990) and Christopher Vogler (2007).
