1.Introduction:
With the growing problem of hygiene obesity, recent research has begun to focus on family and social influences on people’s eating patterns. Research has demonstrated that people’s eating patterns are strongly influenced by characteristics of both the physical and social environment. With regard to the physical environment, people are more likely to eat foods that are available and easily accessible, and they tend to eat greater quantities when larger portions are provided. Additionally, characteristics of the social environment, including various socioeconomic and socio cultural factors such as parents’ education, time constraints, and ethnicity influence the types of foods people eat. Mealtime structure is also an important factor related to people’s eating patterns. Mealtime structure includes social and physical characteristics of mealtimes including whether families eat together, watching TV-viewing during meals, and the source of foods (e.g., restaurants, schools). Parents also play a direct role in people’s eating patterns through their behaviors, attitudes, and feeding styles. Interventions aimed at improving people’s nutrition need to address the variety of social and physical factors that influence people’s eating patterns.Restaurant food is now very much popular to our young generation those who are studying in schools, colleges and universities. After controlling for age and sex, the frequency of consuming restaurant food was positively associated with body fatness. Total daily intakes of energy, fat, and fiber were significantly associated with restaurant food consumption frequency. The frequency of consuming restaurant food was positively associated with increased body fatness in adults.
1.1 the research problem:
In Dhaka city we see a clear comparison between homes made food and restaurant food. As we know that Dhaka is capital of Bangladesh for that reason most of the important office, university, college, school are found in Dhaka city. That’s why a lot of people involved in this sector. They worked whole day and most of them take lunch in the restaurant. But surprisingly most of them like western food. Our cultural foods are a not available in the restaurant.
1.2 the purpose of the study: The purpose of the study was to find out the present perception of the people of Bangladesh about restaurant food. Restaurant food is a very common thing for the people of Bangladesh. It’s very much close to our culture now a day. Her in our report our main purpose is to find out the following things,
1. Evaluate the good side of the restaurant food.
2. Evaluate the bad side of the restaurant food.
3. Evaluate the good side of the home made food.
4. Evaluate the bad side of home made food.
5. Evaluate whether home made food is popular to the people of Bangladesh or the restaurant food.
6. Evaluate whether the people of Dhaka city is more dependable on home made food or restaurant food.
1.3 the objective of the study:
Our aim is to find out the resent perception of the people of Dhaka city about restaurant food as well as home made food. It will help us to find out the kind of food for which the people of Dhaka city is dependent. Here in our report we try to visualize the present scenario of the restaurant and also the problems of the restaurant based on the statements of the people of Dhaka city. That will hopefully give the readers and opportunity to know about the reason why people like to have home made food or restaurant food for their daily life and also why not they like it.
1.4 the research questions:
The questionnaire comprised with one section. It was concerned with analysis which had open-ended yes-no questions. The respondents were asked to respond as per the issues mentioned on the questionnaire which we tape-recorded.
2. Literature review: both fast food and home-made food have significant divergence in preparation time, convenience and quality. Fast food might be better in saving time and being more convenient, while home-made food might be better in quality. Fast food is convenient, effective and obviously quick. But of course, it can be unhealthy. However in todays culture, some people need to bypass that to get through the day without starving. Hectic schedules are the reason that damn Starbucks is so popular. People just don't have time to make a simple cup of coffee. I hate coffee, but you get the point.
3.The proposed methodology:

The study was an outcome of a collaborative effort of the members of the group. Areas covered include the research design, data sources etc.

3.1 research design: My research generally is descriptive . here, gateway to understand the present situation of the position of restaurant food and also the perception of home made food of the people of Dhaka city. Moreover, my research mostly focus on those people who work at office, school-college students, transport passengers, so that find out real difference for choice food types. I try to some important issue develop following discussion such as Changing tastes, growing prestige, reason for food types as entertainment .
3.2.data sources
Dr. Bokuluzzaman Sarker is a Director of Interior Ajanta Ltd.He was born in 1967 at Manikgonj dist. He is a prominent Person of our country. He usually spends 300 taka daily for taking food at restaurant. He exercises regularly and controlled high cholesterol food. And avoid lower class restaurant food. He believes home made food helps to hold the traditional culture. He habituated to take home made food before his service life. He takes home made food at restaurant breakfast and dinner and takes restaurant food for lunch. Generally he takes breakfast like bread (homemade), vegetables and hotchpotch and then tea. So as to his food behavior it can be concluded that he prefers both home made food and restaurant food. In spite of this he emphasizes more on home made food.

Mr. Mezbah Islam is a student of Dhaka College in science group. He was born in 1987at Gazipur dist. His father is a doctor and Mother is a teacher. He lead his life is a specific way. He likes restaurant food but he use home made food regularly. He spends a significant amount of money for taking restaurant food. He is not serious about his health. Because he knows restaurant food is harmful for our health. He just goes to the restaurant for chatting with his friends and spending time. He thinks, College students are using restaurant as a chatting place. Young generation take restaurant is a save place for chatting and gathering. Actually they use restaurant in order to get spending time. But they could not afford for highly expensive food. According to the above discussion, Mr.Mezbahul Islam believes in home made food culture. He wants to take restaurant food also. He thinks, we should change our taste s.

3.3 data collection technique:
My research has begun to focus on family and social influences on people’s eating patterns. It has demonstrated that people’s eating patterns are strongly influenced by characteristics of both the physical and social environment. Home made food is hygienic because it is prepared by family members. On the other hand, restaurant food is not hygienic because most of the restaurant owner and chef are not conscious about hygienic food; they only care about the money. And we also get some example from the newspaper that many restaurants caught by red handed for the unhygienic food making system. Restaurant food is now very much popular to our young generation those who are studying in schools, colleges and universities. After controlling for age and sex, the frequency of consuming restaurant food was positively associated with body fatness. Total daily intakes of energy, fat, and fiber were significantly associated with restaurant food consumption frequency. In our survey can see one thing that is all the people are not interested to go to restaurant because some of them want to save money and some of them carry home made food form their home. That’s why restaurant food is not their daily food. They take restating occasionally.

First of all I arrange some of proper place to find my suitable data.i am looking for cultural diversity people who can tell me affect of diversity and to know their food choice.secondly I my desire to go bachelor persons to determine percentage of food choice.moreover those people who has time shortage and also executive families etc.after analyzing those people I find that for cultural diversity people ,All of them have not a same culture. Some of has different culture for the religion. Some comes from different country. As we know that a lot tribe lives in Bangladesh. They have different culture. For that reason we can verification when an order placed. Some of them don’t take beef because of the religious beliefs. For the bachelor 60% of the student who studied in the university stay out of their home and live in the hostel or mess, and generally there are many people in the job field in Dhaka city from different district who also stay in the mess also. People who live in the mess generally used to take restaurant food for their lunch and breakfast. So they are very much dependable in restaurant food, because it’s too much time consuming for them to make home made food by their own. 3.4 issue of reliability and validity.

In this report we are trying to show on the current situation on home made food and restaurant food. When people take home made food and restaurant food. We also tried to show the effect which will be added in our culture in the coming future. Now a days we if we look at the news paper then we can see that most of the restaurant make food in unhygienic way which is very harmful for our health.

Definitions of key terms. Concepts and variables: people like to\take home made food
Home made food is good for our health. 100% of the people of Dhaka city from the entire group are agreed with that. There is no doubt about that home made food is hygienic food.

There are many people who works in the job filed tries have home made food for their lunch. They take the food before they are going to the office. On the other hand for that reason the parents of the school going students give their children food as Tiffin. Because they think that it is more hygienic then the restaurant food. This is the reason why people likes home made food over restaurant food.
Home made food is less expensive then restaurant food. 100% of the people of all groups are agreeing with that. There are many people who don’t want to take restaurant food for the price factor.

Actually the cost of food that is made in our home is not higher then the price of the restaurant food. The cost of the restaurant food is higher than the cost of homemade food. So home made food is more favorable to us. We can have made more home made food in a similar price in comparison to the restaurant food.
Reason people don’t like home made food:
People takes home made food everyday. In our survey we found that people of all the stage generally take home made food for their breakfast and their dinner. So it’s very much common thing for them.People are all the stage generally takes home made food every day for the dinner and the breakfast. So it’s a common thing for the all the people of Dhaka city. For that reason they are usually boring to take home made food all the time.
Time shortage
Time is too much valuable for the university student and also the people in the job field. 90% of them don’t want to take home made food for the time factor. Cause they don’t have so much time to make the food in their home.

Time is too much short for the people who worked in the job field. They always try to reduce their time for taking food. In that point of view people don’t want to take home made food.
Bad side of restaurant food
Restaurant food is not good for the health. In our survey we found that most of the people from these four groups agree that restaurant food is not good for our health. Restaurant food is good for our health, because now days it is found that many restaurants use expired food and serve it for their customers. But people in the job filed and university students have no other choice, they must have take restaurant food for their daily life. But it also found that at present demand for restaurant food is reduced due
Moreover , Destroy family relationship, Effects on Deshi culture are reposible to consume restaurant food.
3.6 data analysis and interpretation:
After doing this research t we can say that restaurant food is now very much popular to our young generation those who are studying in schools, colleges and universities. Restaurant food is affected our culture very much. Day by day the demands of restaurant food are increasing. Every class people are getting interest on the restaurant food. 60% people of Dhaka city’s are depend on the restaurant food for different reason. Day by day people will depend more on the restaurant food. For that reason we can see that restaurants are increasing in Dhaka city frequently. Home made food is our cultural food. We take it for live and we can stay without our home made food. It is safer than restaurant food. Though the people have a great interest on the restaurant food but in the home they can not change their culture.

Ethical considerations:
All my research try to find out all the information by myself and I used some of interviews collected . Also I took help from internet to find more data as well.

It is convenient for a large amount of parents to make financial provision for their children to buy lunch at school rather than fix a lunch at home. More children live in a two parent household, which means there is less time for the stereotypical parenting duties such as making lunches and cooking dinner. But they are many things that we can do to solve this problem. In this paper I am suggesting three solutions, which may help to increase American’s public health and society to prevent unhealthy eating habits. Education is one of the most important key factors that can help African-Americans to choose right food, and change their unhealthy eating habits to a healthier ones, which can lead to prevent serious health problems in future. By educating parents and increasing the level of knowledge about healthy food choices their children will be conscious and be aware about their food and intakes. Also, people receive their nutritional information from advertisements on TV and radio, so we can use media as a good source to teach all people. In addition, creating free after school parent educational program on healthy lifestyle and healthy eating habits. Because parents are a child's first role model and they way they behave is very important. Also, government and school system can control what students eat by changing their food choices at the snack bars or vending machines. For example, instead of sugary drink they can replace zero calorie drinks. These little changes can help people to learn about healthy and affordable alternatives instead of greasy and oily foods and can prevent serious health problems for them in…

This is a substantial increase from the results recorded 20 years ago. Since American culture is comprised of numerous nationalities, it is important to identify both the characteristics of individual nationality nutrition trends and those of which that have been picked up through current trends in the American culture. In recent years, school cafeterias across America have started a new lunch trend that has sparked quite a debate. With so many complaints about the poor quality food that schools have been serving students, bringing in popular fast food restaurants to replace traditional lunches seems to be the quick solution. This new trend is not only a dull attempt to solve an issue, but it also creates other problems for school age children, as well as the entire nation. Fast food restaurants may be more popular among students, which is financially appealing to school staff, but it also creates bad eating habits that can carry on into adulthood. Not to mention, eating in such an unhealthy way can also cause excessive weight gain and poor nutrition, but…

There are numerous connotations to describe and point out differences of one’s culture, many sociologists describe culture as an adoption and process of behavioral patterns that influence people within a society. Cultural factors that play a key role in the increase of obesity within the Japanese population are; attitudes and customs. Japan’s cultural and eating habits has for many years included a seafood-based cuisine, rice and fresh vegetables. Japanese food portions are smaller compared to American portions and simply prepared with fresh ingredients. 50 Years ago a stable meal consisted of soup and rice three meals a day. With the adaption of Westernized eating habits, Japanese are eating bigger portions for breakfast, eating lighter lunch and having a big dinner. With the influence of bigger portions, Japanese are increasing their diets with more sweets and fatty calorie rich foods.
