In my work I'm going to talk about the micro and macro function of a law and I will apply my knowledge of them on the case between Sophie Hess and Antoinette Royan.
Micro and macro functions of the law
In a law system, we can distinguish between micro and macro functions of a law. Both of them play very important role in a law system. “The interactions and relationships between law and each of these orders are very important and complex” . The ability of a law to form these orders is not unlimited. The macro functions of a law are a general framework, which interact with law and society. “Macro functions of a law are those relating to the general role law plays in the running and ordering of society” . “The micro functions involves more specific functions of law, many of these functions are derived from the macro functions.” The micro functions are basic tools without which the macro functions cannot exist and they won't work. Macro and micro functions are very important in a law and society. They are connected and they cannot exist without each other.

The rights of the Economic Order “define ownership rights in property as well as laying down procedures for the transfer of those ownership rights from one person to another" . This case is connected with the Economic Order in many ways. Mainly, because the dispute is about property. To whom the apartment belongs, and how the profits from the apartment should be divided. The ownership rights define who is the proper heir of the apartment, why this person is inheriting this property. Also it talks about private property rights, because the apartment was the private property of the Angela and now it belongs to
