The Lutheran Reformation, a religious and cultural movement in the 1500s, was started by Martin Luther when he posted his “95 Theses” stating what he thought the Roman Catholic Church was doing wrong. It was part of a bigger movement known as the Protestant Reformation. The only difference between the two is that the Protestant Reformation contained all Protestant denominations including Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Evangelical, and Baptist while the Lutheran Reformation contained only Lutherans.
