Differences Between Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief
“Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief” is one of my favorite Percy Jackson books of all time. When a group of people decided to create the movie, I was bursting with joy. However, when I saw that so many things had changed, my excitement dropped. I was sad for quite a while but I learned to enjoy it. While watching the movie, I took notes on the similarities and differences between the movie and the book. In the movie, Percy Jackson is 16-years-old, in the book however, Percy was 12-years-old. Another comparison is the pearls. If you break a special pearl, it will lead you wherever you think in your head.     Since the group needed the second pearl they had to find it in a museum. They saw a giant statue of a Athena in the center of the room. The pearl was on her crown, it was too busy to take it that moment so they had to stay after hours. They used the flying shoes Luke loaned them to get it.
