Different Kinds Of America's Gifts To My Generation
America has given my generation many privileges and gifts. Some of them we might take for granted or not realize they are gifts at all. Americas’ Gifts to My Generation that I am most thankful for are technology, Freedom of Speech, and laws. Technology is a gift to my generation. Technology can educate us in many different ways. Rather than going to a library to research a topic, you can research anything on the internet. Today’s technology makes communication much easier, quicker, and far more convenient. In addition, we can access this technology through new and improved devices like smart phones, computers, tablets, smart televisions that can access the internet, and even smart watches. This technology makes life easier. For example an online shopper might be concerned about a product. The customer can email the company and discuss the product . Technology can …show more content…
What freedom of speech means to me is that I can say whatever I believe. This gift gives me the right to say it. I can say what I think and be accepted. In America, we have the right of freedom of speech, but sadly not everyone is this fortunate. For example, in North Korea, you have to agree with whatever the president says or else terrible things will happen to you. Freedom of speech is one of the many gifts to my generation from America. Laws are yet another one of the gifts to my generation. Laws protect a community and keep us safe. For instance, laws protect us from discrimination against our age or race. Laws tell us what we can and can't do. Laws are one of the many gifts to my generation from America. America has given my generation many gifts. Americas’ gifts to my generation are technology, Freedom of Speech, and laws. All gifts deserve a thank you, and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of thanks than the soldiers, patriots, and founding fathers who have given these gifts to Americans through our

First of all, we have a lot of freedom. We have freedom of religion where we can practice our religions in public. We can also read and learn about these religions. We also have Freedom of speech. We can voice our varying opinions about topics such as politics. We also have the freedoms to watch and and eat what we want. While this is not as important as the first two, I feel that it is still important. Next, as Americans we are mostly generous. We tend to reach out to people in need throughout the world. One such way was World war II as the allies. We also help people within our own country. During 9/11 many people gave money, food, and help to charities to help pay for expenses and clear debris. Many people now give money, work, or goods to homeless people or neglected animals. Because the United States has a lot of culture, I am also proud. We compose our own music and write our own songs. Many immigrants can bring culture from their home country and those things may become popular here. Compared to many countries including Burkina Faso, Rwanda, and Sri Lanka, our country is certainly lucky. Most Americans have homes and food, and all have access to clean…

Do you know when our national anthem first came to be the official anthem of the United States of America? The anthem was written by Francis Scott Key and became the official American anthem on March 3, 1931. America's gift to my generation is freedom of expression. Freedom of expression means we have the right to express our opinions in many ways. Currently, the professional football players of our nation seem to be using their freedom of expression to, in my opinion, disgrace our country's anthem.…

America’s gift to my generation and many generations before me are many things. The main gifts that I appreciate are freedom, safety, and welfare. Most people have been sharing opinions with me about other Americans kneeling during the pledge of allegiance or the national anthem. I do not believe that kneeling is appropriate or respectful. It is disrespectful to those who fight for our freedom. The reason those people have the freedom to kneel is because of the outstanding men and women who are brave enough to fight. The fact that they have the freedom to disrespect our country is actually amazing. Even though the amount of disrespect they are showing is not appreciated, I would fight for them to be able…

America’s gift to my generation is freedom, America is now a symbol of freedom. Ever since July 4, 1776 America has been free. The most recognized laws for freedom in America is the original ten amendments. The first amendment states that you have the right of freedom of speech. That basically says you can’t say whatever you want and you can’t be criminalized for it. That is one gift America has given to my generation out of many. Another amendment probably the most recognized amendment is the second amendment stating that the American citizen has the right to bare arms. The only reason we have these rights is because of veterans willing to sacrifice their own lives to give us these freedoms. My father and brother…
