DIFFERENT OCCASIONS CELEBRATED AROUND THE WORLD

April Fool's Day:- Provides a brief explanation of the history of April's fool day and how it is celebrated around the world.
Arbor Day:- Read the history of Arbor Day. Find out the many uses of trees, learn how to make your own paper, and learn how to plant a tree.
Boxing Day:- Provides an explanation about the history of Boxing Day and how it celebrated in some countries around the world.

Carnevale:- Provides information about the history of Carnevale with links to different places in Italy, masks and more.

Thanksgiving (USA):- The American Thanksgiving holiday began as a feast of thanksgiving in the early days of the American colonies almost four hundred years ago. Thanksgiving (Canada):- The Canadian Thanksgiving Day came about because of a combination of traditions.

Valentine's Day:- Each year, on February 15, the Luperci priests gathered on the Palantine at the cave of Lupercal. Here, according to legend, Romulus and Remus, founders of Rome, had been nursed by a mother wolf. In Latin, the word lupus is the word for wolf.
