Portfolios are a collection of different works that consist of curriculum based measurements, work sample, individual documentation of work on IEP goals, observations, and anecdotal notes. When it comes to age for these types of assessments they can be utilized for any young male or female students at any particular age they are during their education assessments. Sample of such Portfolios’ work can consist of literacy as well as math and writing samples that indicate a child’s progress during an entire school year.
Standardized assessments are utilized from 3 grade of a child’s education through High School or beyond. In essence, any child which is 8 years or older would qualify to use Standardized assessments. A couple of the example of Standardized assessments are EOG (End of Grad) as well as EOC (End of Course), and Benchmark Assessments which are considered to be Criterion-Referenced along with Norm-Referenced Standardized Assessments.
