A conflict which occurs in this play is when Puck turns Bottoms head into an ass of a donkey. Puck mixes up the charm of Lysander and complicates a situation that is difficult already. Love has double-crossed itself. Puck puts the love potion on Lysander's eyes by accident, causing him to fall in love with Helena and abstain Hermia. In addition Demetrius falls for Helena. While in other places of the forest, Puck interferes with the workmen while they were rehearsing for the play. Puck decides to eavesdrop about needing a lion for the play.
