A. Impact on Growth
The candidate provides a logical discussion, with sufficient detail, of how one historical, legislative, social, or economic in the community impacted the growth of the chosen organization. In 2012 Catholic Health West Changed their name to Dignity Health. This change ended their relationship with the Catholic Church. The new transformation was planned to open up a wide opportunity for growth, which would include merging with non-Catholic hospitals who share the same standards. The main goal was to expand the organization and patients by three times the size. They would measure achievement by the tripling of net revenue. (Sacramento Business Journal, 2012)

The candidate provides an appropriate comparison, with sufficient support, of the chosen hospital’s mission, vision, and/or value statement to services provided to the community.
Dignity Health’s mission is to serve the community and improve quality of life by providing quality and affordable healthcare. Core Values include Dignity, Collaboration, justice, stewardship, and excellence. (Dignity Health, 2016)

B1. Quality Improvement Initiatives
The candidate provides a logical explanation, with sufficient detail, of a quality improvement initiative from your chosen hospital.
In an effort to prevent Hospital acquired infections and readmission, Dignity Health participates in Quality Improvement Organization. The Quality Improvement Organization and the Hospital Engagement Network work closely to reduce hospital injury and readmission. The goal is to improve the organization for patients and Medicare program. C1. Impact on Healthcare Delivery
The candidate provides a plausible analysis, with sufficient support, of how the chosen organization uses health informatics technologies to impact its healthcare delivery.
Dignity Health teamed up with Catholic Health Initiatives to provide access to Precision Medicine Alliance. Precision Medicine Alliance will allow precise diagnosis and treatment protocols based on the patient’s genetic molecular profile to be delivered to Physicians quicker. One hundred and fifty hospitals, including Care centers which treat over twelve million patients a year, will be able to access Precision Medicine Alliance. The partnership will permit Physicians access to diagnostic technology that is currently only available to academic medical centers. ("Precision Medicine Alliance Could Affect 12 Million Patients," 2016) Electronic Medical Records will also be incorporated into the new partnership. EMR will be allowed access into the right clinical information data. The two Organizations will contract with laboratories and bioinformatics companies to develop molecular tests specific to meet the needs of patients and clinicians. The merging of data from diagnostic tests and patient specific medical history, allows clinicians to provide distinct treatment and prevention plans. ("Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives Team Up to Launch the Largest Community-Based Precision Medicine Program in the U.S," 2016)
C2. Emerging Trends
The candidate provides a logical evaluation, with sufficient support, of how the chosen organization uses emerging trends in technology to support its projects and initiatives.
Dignity Health uses current trends in technology such as Telemedicine to improve the safety of their patients.
Telemedicine allows Clinicians to monitor patient care from anyplace and at any time. The allowance of this technology helps Physicians provide early intervention for patients. ("Breakthrough technology connects doctors to moms in labor," 2011) Dignity Health’s use of AirStrip OB allows Physicians to monitor patients without being physically present. Physicians are able to monitor up to four hours of the patient’s current vitals, including fetal heart beats, and maternal contraction patterns. AirStrip OB not only allows physicians access to fetal monitors but also allows access to the organization’s labor and delivery records. This material is transferred securely to the physician by mobile devices and is in compliance with HIPPA. ("Breakthrough technology connects doctors to moms in
