Article DIGNITY OF GOOD VALUES
7l3l13 BY NARRATOR
Love, trust, affection and faith are values of human life.we can only judge a person by his qualities and not by the appearance.God has bestowed this people like mother teressa and also other freedom fighters like Gandhiji,Subaash Chandra bose,etc..They were selfless and they worked 4 the welfare of the society.this facts are are applicable to the boys in Verona. Last month I set off to Verona and from there I came across two boys whose name was Nicola and Jacopo .Meeting these boys were indeed an experience for me. I have come across many individuals in my life but none of them can be compared with Nicolo and Jacopo .Both the boys had cultured and comfortable lives. The war ruined their family. They came across many circumstances and all these gave them determination and courage to lead a new life. Their sister Lucia was suffering from TB.their love for Lucia crossed all the boundaries . anybody in this situation would have let their sister to suffer. They did various jobs and they didn’t even spare a minute. They were selfless and they had self respect ,they were also veracious. They could have deviated to evil path to earn money easily ,but they didn’t.they were totally different from the other boys trust love and affection are some of the qualities of a good society .These values lack in today’s generation .Nicolo and Jacopo give us hope that there are good people in the society. They are role models for the whole nation and I am damn sure that they will be deemed for their good deeds. MAY GOD BLESS THEM!

Alessandra states that it is her deepest wish to live with Filippo and that nothing could give her more comfort. This statement shows us how important family unity was as Alessandra states just how much she wants to live with her son. She then says that if she did live with him it would be a much bigger comfort to her than it would be to him because she needs him more than he needs her. Alessandra then states, “And the reason is because I can only do badly without you, but you can do everything without me.” These two similar statements show just how important Filippo is to Alessandra and how she believes that he no longer needs her help to succeed in life.…

Ethics, Morality, and Integrity all have some of the same elements that defines a person character. Being trustworthy leads to other elements of integrity. Such as, helping to better the community and respecting authority as a Parole Officer shows honesty. Being fair is another element which shows integrity. How can you be a Parole Officer, but doesn`t treat everyone equally? Third, being able to take responsibility for your own actions and personal growth as a Parole Officer shows integrity, as well. If you basically blame all of your failures and lack of progress on others around you then that shows your character and you cannot exhibit integrity with others and your career if you cannot be honest to yourself. The novel focusses on the idea that people’s ability to be evil is also enhanced by people, especially men, feeling the need to prove themselves, to be brave and strong and powerful. This idea is demonstrated when Sergio is leading a meeting between the adults who captured Filippo and they are talking about what they should do. It is a pivotal scene because it is when Michele finally discovers what his father has to do with the boy in the hole. Fillipo’s mother appears on the television issuing a plea to Filippo’s captors to release him. Even though Pino, Michele’s father, has a son he shows no signs of sympathising with the woman and in order to prove his manliness and bravado in front of the other men he: “Made the scissors sign with his fingers. ‘Two ears we’ll cut off. Two.’” This proves that he may believe and know that what they are doing is wrong but because of the bullying by the men from the North, mainly their representative Sergio, he feels he has to prove himself and does the wrong thing in…

1978 Southern Italy is where our story takes place; in particular a small village named Aqua Traverse is where we meet our protagonist Michele for the first time. Michele is a relatively quiet nine year old boy, however his ethics and compassion are far beyond his age. Indeed he shows much more courage and convictions in his morals than many of the adults in the story who are too blinded by lust for money and hope for a way out of Aqua Traverse to care much for morality. Michele demonstrates his understanding of right and wrong when describing Barbara’s forfeit, where Skull had ordered her to unbutton her shirt and show the group her breasts. “I felt bad as about it, the forfeit wasn’t fair.” Although he disagreed with the forfeit Michele did not speak up due to his own fear of Skull. What is important however is that he considered the right and wrong thing to do, even saying “I didn’t like my sister being there”. His protectiveness of his sister is the first sign of his wholesomeness and compassion, even in the face of bad acts.…

During my nursing practice I have experienced a range of ethical dilemmas, in varying forms. Each instance developed my inner database of ethics, values and responsibilities. In my essay I would like to use an incident that I have experienced as a personal care worker in Australia. Firstly, I will briefly describe events in my first part of the case study and then I will reveal the dilemma this situation posed for me. I will examine related issues including my feelings and thoughts I had at that time and will look at some ethical theories, organisational policies and other aspects that influenced my decision making process. Only then I will reveal the second part of my case study which will show what action I have taken and will reflect upon it.…

In 1486, Renaissance philosopher Pico della Mirandola spoke the Oration on the Dignity of Man through which he called into question the primacy of the human creature. He held that God endowed man with the ability to choose his own destiny and his own perspective with which to view life and everything around. His contention was that those abilities distinguished man from all other beings. He further argued in the Oration, that animals come into the world with everything they can ever possess. Similarly, he believed that angels and other astral beings likewise come into existence as complete beings that do not continue to develop. Only the human creature is bestowed "with all possibilities."Mirandola purports that the glory of humanity is that it has an ever-changing nature. He goes on to explain that the philosopher is prime among men for his reason-based outlook on life, and even more so if he transcends thoughts of the body and immerses completely into contemplation. He cites philosophers and intellectuals from a variety of faiths and cultures, so as not to appear hypocritical, and suggests that any human has the potential for pondering existence. He calls into question the "well-worn doctrines" of some of his compatriots, urging his audience to look deeper, past the usual reasons given for human primacy such as the philosophical study of arithmetic and arts. He urges others to enter into a realm of comparative reason: man alone can choose his own path. His theory advances the idea that a description of natural magic and wonder challenges people who become angry at the idea of magic and wonder because, similar to dogs barking at strangers, they do not understand…

The movie I chose to watch was Glory (1989). Glory is the story of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, the first formal unit of African American men, led by Colonel Robert Shaw, whom I have chosen to compare. The Colonel is a white man who fights the bigotry of the enemy, who have vowed to kill any officers who lead the troops and by his own commanding officers who have kept them out of the war to do their dirty work. Colonel Shaw starts the War eager and zealous for the fight, the battle of Antietam leaves his disillusioned and wounded.…
