    Dillard uses many examples to show how humans need to live more meaningful and respectful. One of the first examples is showing how differently and more meaningful a weasel lives. “The weasel lives in necessity and we live in choice, hating necessity and dying at the last ignobility in its talons. I would like to live as I should” (Dillard 3). Dillard says this because is is true humans hate doing what is needed to do but like doing what is not a necessity. Man needs to live more meaningful and more simplistic.
