Dina’s realization of her change in love interest is similar to the character ‘Callie Torres’ from Grey’s Anatomy. Diana develops a friendship with Heidi throughout the story. This friendship is not only special but turns into a relationship with chemistry, but Dina takes a while to perceive their situation, accept it. Callie Torres was in the same position when she was in a similar friendship with a woman named, Erica Hahn. Callie then becomes temporarily strained from the friendship when she starts to believe Erica has romantic interests for her.
