They are essentially placed in woodlands, grasslands or mountainous rural areas with an adequate water supply such as; nearby streams, rivers, creeks or lakes. This is evident at Queensland's Ravensbourne national Park, located 32 km north of Toowoomba. Ravensbourne National Park is an environment with a biodiverse ecosystem due to an adequate source of water and wildlife. The rainforest also inhabits the contents of the dingoes diet consisting of carnivorous prey, such as; kangaroos, rabbits, wombats and wallabies. Conversely, desert regions, such as Central Australia are home to minimal amounts of dingo, as the population is very limited due to the lack of water and food. This is important because it is a natural occurrence in the separate communities of Dingo. This important because without the Dingo the animals below it in the food chain would increase in population causing ecosystem complications including indiverse range of animals in the ecosystem.
