Disability Every day people walk down streets passing millions of people and most likely barely notice anything about them. Some may look exactly like us but others may look the same and have issues we can not see. Some people have disabilities, a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities. Most never find out that they have a disability until it’s too late to really do anything. They have to figure out how to deal with it on their own. People with disabilities have three main things that they can teach us; one would be how much of a hindrance it actually is on their physical or mental abilities to perform everyday activities, the fact that they are being made to conform to the legal standards formed by society, and they have the opportunity to educate others. …show more content…
A disability can be a hindrance on an individual’s physical or mental abilities to perform everyday activities. A simple touch or movement can make a difference in a disabled person’s life. A person in a wheelchair wishes that he could walk again. An individual with Asperger’s syndrome wishes that they could fit in with everyone else and just feel “normal”. Many people in today’s society do not understand people that have disabilities or have a physical handicap. We, as a society, also don’t want to try and help these people
