DISADVANTAGES OF UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMS

As we know ; there are many students who enter the university entrance exam in Turkey. Almost two billion students face this situation. Are we thinking about the problems of sitting the university exam? In order to take it into consideration, being student is necessary because the anxiety of exam and talking about exam are different from each other. Besides the advantages of university entrance exam, there are disadvantages of this more than advantages. In this point, we will see some disadvantages of university exams.

In the first place; it is wrong to cram an exam into two or three hours because the success of students cannot be measured with two-hours-exam. Backlog of information can loose during the exam because of stress. All of the study is wasted due to the exams. The success of a student absolutely can not be obtained with just an exam.

Secondly ; as can be seen, the university exams cause some psychologic problems on students. But it is necessary to take it in consideration for families and other people around students. To labor the point of exams causes some lacking of communication between students and their families. Parents put pressure on their children for studying hard and children feel so depressed because they want to do all of the things together. For instance; studying,playing with their friends,going out etc.
But some parents believe that the success of exams happens just with studying a lot. It is wrong thought.

Pursuing this furhter ; students ,who feel as if they are put pressure, come face to face with lacking of self-confidence. They think that they will not be able to do whatever they want. Especially during the process of preparing exams,they can feel so upset. In other words ;even if they know all of the things about their lessons, they can not do what they know during the exams or tests because of their lacking of self-confidence. Like overcoming the
